"… music is my life,

and my life

is dedicated to music…"

I was born in Ivrea (Torino) on January 25, 1969 and reside in Pont Saint Martin (Aosta) and I do well there!

Graduated in 1989 in oboe from the Conservatory of Novara, in 1988 I also earned my diploma in piano from the Conservatory of Cuneo.

I began playing concerts by collaborating with various orchestras such as "L'Orchestra da Camera del Piemonte", "L'Orchestra Giovanile di Torino", "L'Orchestra da Camera di Aosta", "L'Orchestra Sinfonica Epore-diese" and I took part from 1991-1996 in the "Orchestra d'Harmonie du Val d'Aoste" directed by Lino Blanchod, participating in a variety of national competitions and also aborad in Spain where the group has always taken first place.

Moreover, I collaborated with different groups and chamber formations, such as: "Jeunesse Armonia Ensemble" of Torino, the "Blaser Quintett" of Cuneo, the "Quintetto fiati Harmonie Ensemble" of Aostsa, Quintetto fiati e pianoforte "Melos Art Ensemble"….

I participated in various improvement courses, such as: Technique and Interpretation of the Oboe with Maestro Bruno DeRosa in Loano, Master class with Maestro Hansjoerg Schellenberger at the School of Music in Fiesole, Improvement Course of Orchestra directed by Renato Renzetti in Lanciano, Oboe Course in Riva of Garda and an Annual Improvement Course at the Conservatory of Lugano held by Maestro Hans Elhorst.

Since 1990 I am a music teacher at the middle schools in the region, since 2005 I hold a support teaching position at the Istituto Professionale Regionale in Pont St Martin.

I have held annual classes as an instructor and a musical organizer in elementary schools as an outside expert from 1997 until 2004.

Since 2003 I started to go down the path of traditional music, taking me closer to instruments like the hurdy gurdy, Celtic harp, pifferi pipes and knowing many carefree people who are always happy with the desire to have fun.

My encounter with Ariondassa came about in a "technological" way… I was researching skilled musicians with whom I could play and in that way, someone responded to my Internet post…. And well, the rest is history…. Now I think I am able to finally say that true friends do exist: that honesty, kindness, pure sentiments and group spirit can coexist and be a leading thread down the road to musical togetherness which I wish to share many more years of playing and partying in merriment.
