"… I have spent my time in search

of love, loving myself and fleeing from

myself. I have always listened

to real music looking only to understand.

I have always played alive music

looking only to communicate.

I have spent my time looking for love

and I have found it…"

Born in Alessandria in December of 1952.

In the 70's he began playing in the Band of Rithm and Blues "Devil's Bloom" as a saxophonist. At the same time, studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Torino and the Accademia del Flauto Dolce directed by Maestro Balestracci, becoming passionate about wind instruments used in the Medieval and Renaissance periods.

At the beginning of the 80's he co-founded the group Tre Martelli, a historical group of Piemontese folk music.

At the same time, he participated in the first record of the "Ciapa Rusa" contributing to the rebirth of the oboe common in the Apennines of the four provinces.

His meeting with Chacho Marchelli was decisive in the realization of important musical projects and European theatrical performances such as "Musica Alpina" and "La Grande Orchestra delle Alpi". For Ariondassa he takes care of the painting of posters of the sung stories and Treppi, which show visually the story the songs of the group are telling.
